How can I have my baby christened/baptised in St Mary’s Church Hambleton?
Christening/Baptism Services at St Mary’s Church in Hambleton are services for all the family. They take place by arrangement with the Vicar. The service lasts for about 40-45 minutes and may includes a mix of songs and readings, a short talk and the Baptism itself.
What is Baptism? It is about you saying thank you to God for the safe arrival of your new child. It’s about you promising to bring your child up to follow Jesus and it’s about us all welcoming your child into the church.
How can I book a Baptism for my child? Please contact Revd Mark Poskitt, using the contact form found here, or you may telephone Revd Poskitt on 01757 227768 or email him at vicar4cdhh@btinternet.com
